Lenni tells the song's story with honesty and clarity. Her vocal styling is reminiscent of popular jazz and big band vocalists like Peggy Lee, Doris Day, Ella, and Judy when delivering jazz and big band standards, but she can belt out a classic rock tune that would do Tina Turner proud.
One of Lenni's favorite career highlights was touring with Canadian tenor Julian Gallo as opening act for Mickey Rooney in two pan-Canadian tours, from Whitehorse, Yukon to Sydney, NS.
Lenni has worked and shared the playbill with many respected Canadian artists. She performs regularly with the Lenni Stewart JAZZTRIO, LST Revival Trio, and collaborates with big band and jazz groups including the Frank Howard Big Band, Dan Shaer's Variety Dance Band, Howard Lopez Music Group, the Commodores, the Starpainters and more. She is a venue performer with the PEC Jazz Festival and Belleville Jazz Festival, and appears in concert halls, theatres, wineries and anywhere great music is played.
